The tequeno, that irresistible Venezuelan snack born in the city of Los Teques, has ceased to be a local secret to become a global sensation. Its humble origins, as a simple snack of dough and cheese, have transformed into an explosion of flavors that conquers palates all over the world.


What began as an ingenious creation to take advantage of leftover dough, today has become a symbol of Venezuelan gastronomy. Its versatility has led it to diversify, being filled with chocolate, guava or combined with sweet and spicy sauces or molasses. The tequeno is not only enjoyed in Venezuela, but has become a special guest at parties, meetings and international events, bringing a little piece of Venezuelan flavor to every corner of the planet.


In our store we prepare it with the same artisanal essence of its origin and that is why it is so famous in our store in Doral, and soon in Katy. And as we love to please all tastes, we prepare it in two sizes, the small one which is the original tequeno, and we serve it with spicy-sweet sauce and the larger tequeno which is the one that fascinates everyone. The secret is the dough and the cheese. When you eat it there is no waste.
